Transitions XTRActive New Generation lenses

Extra protection from light, even in the car.

Anywhere you go, Transitions XTRActive New Generation lenses are uniquely designed to protect your eyes from the brightest sun and harsh artificial light. Transitions XTRActive New Generation lenses fade to extra dark outdoors to protect from the brightest sun, even in the hottest conditions, and are also able to darken from behind the windscreen of a car to protect the eyes from sunlight while driving.

Transitions Style mirrors combine Transitions XTRActive New Generation technology with a fashionable mirror finish. These lenses are available in a range of mirror colours. Please contact customer services for availability information.

Transitions™ XTRActive® Polarized™

Transitions XTRActive Polarized lenses go extra dark, even in hot temperatures(1), achieve category 2 level of darkness in the car(2) and achieve up to 90% polarisation efficency.(3)

(1) Based on tests on polycarbonate grey lenses, up to 10% darker than the previous generation @ 23°C and up to 5% darker @ 35°C.

(2) Based on tests across materials on grey lenses, achieving transmission below 45% @ 23°C behind a standard windshield. The lens achieves a polarisation efficiency of 30% behind the windshield, which is not classified as being “polarised”.

(3) Based on tests across materials on grey lenses @ 23°C, using ISO 12312-1 standard.
