Lenses

We have our own dedicated digital and conventional lens surfacing facilities that give us the flexibility to meet your most demanding specifications.

To allow total freedom when prescribing ophthalmic lenses, Sinclair hold large stocks of most well known brands. These compliment our own, competitively priced ranges of CR39, High index, glass and Polycarbonate lenses.

Remote edging

As well as our extremely well renowned glazing services, remote edging is available for all our customers. We use the latest precision edgers to ensure we offer the highest quality lenses for all frames.Our new web ordering system allows practices to send their frame trace to us, to ensure that their patients can continue to wear their spectacles whilst they wait for their new lenses.

Anti reflection lenses

We offer a wide variety of anti reflection lenses from some of the top brands within the optical industry, such as Essilor's Crizal, BBGR's Neva Max UV, and Nikon's SeeCoat. Many of our premium coatings offer E-SPF protection, and protection against UV and blue-violet light filtration (Protection against UV and blue-violet light is between 400 and 455nm as stated by ISO TR 20772:2018).

Tints & sun lenses

Our product portfolio doesn't stop at conventional spectacles. We also offer our customers a leading range of tinted and polarised lenses.

Xperio polarised lenses are among the best available today, and we are proud to offer them at Sinclair Optical Services. Xperio wearers notice enhanced colours, with enhanced contrast compared to conventional sunwear. Xperio lenses also offer 100% UV protection.

Mirror coating

Mirror coatings are available in a wide variety of colours. Silver and gold are available in both low and high reflection lenses. All of our coatings offer a two-year guarantee for you and your patient's peace of mind.
